Special Skills:
Sisko came to WRBI as a part-and-parcel addition along with his
owner, Lori Homstol, who is the first Canadian bear conflict specialist
to join WRBI. He grew up barking at bears in and around Banff National
Park. When he was eleven months old, Sisko treed his first bear
off-leash, and he did it all by himself. He is fast and agile, and
loves to bark.
Education Level:
Sisko has his intermediate obedience certificate as well as his
Canine Good Citizen Certificate. This certification reflects Sisko's
obedience level, the special ability to be affectionate with children,
and the temperament to work well with and among the public.
Personality:
Sisko is a rapid destroyer of squeaky toys: one has yet to survive
the ride home from the store. Full of energy, his favorite games
are "tug" and "chase." He prefers to play with
other dogs, but if he's alone his tail will do.
