Eilu

Registered Name: Molssin Eilu
Kennel Name: "Eilu" (aka Marylyn Monroe or Madonna)
Sex: Female
Date of Birth: August 14, 1996
Place of Birth: Northern Karelia; Ilomantsi, Finland
Weight: 52 lbs
Lineage: Granddaughter of the legendary Finnish bear fighter "Ressu"

Special Skills: Eilu is very well balanced. She loves to track bears and is very good at treeing them. She has an unbelievably good nose and loves to hunt. Eilu is the mother of the first Finnish line of KBDs born in North America that are used in bear-conflict work.

Education Level: Eilu completed intermediate obedience and earned her Canine Good Citizen Certificate. This certificate reflects Eilu's obedience level, the special ability to be affectionate with children and the temperament to work well with and among the public.

Personality: Eilu is our flower child, wild child, butterfly chaser. She is Queen of the Kennel and a flirt: her habit of sidling her back up to you and gazing over her shoulder into your eyes has earned her the nickname "Marylyn Monroe." She prefers to sleep late until breakfast is served, where she may or may not eat depending on her mood. She is notorious for hanging out below the treat jar, rocked back on her heels in classic begging position.

Special Note: Eilu came all the way from Finland when she was 4 months old. She was a special gift to Carrie from the Molssin Kennel who believe in the Partners in Life Program. Eilu's grandfather is a bear dog legend in Finland.
